Feast of Agios Georgios (patron), Agios Georgios Monastery, Chora
22–23 April · Skyros Chora
St George is the patron of Skyros (the Venetians called it Isola San Giorgio) and his 10th-century monastery sits on the rock under the castle above the Chora. The feast on 23 April, moved to Easter Monday when it falls in Lent, is a liturgy and procession rather than a tavla panigiri, but it is the day the Chora dresses up. Steep climb; go up early and have coffee in the square afterwards.

Panigiri of Profitis Ilias, Ai-Lias (Psili and Trachy)
19–20 July
Profitis Ilias is kept at two hilltop chapels, Ai-Lias o Psilos on the night of 19-20 July and the Ai-Lias at Trachy on the 20th, with the tavles of pilaf and goat after the service and music until dawn. Dirt-road access; go with a local or a 4x4 and a torch.

Panigiri of Agios Ermolaos, Molos (boat procession to the islet)
26 July
The most photogenic Skyrian feast: on 26 July fishing boats ferry everyone from Molos beach to the islet of Agios Ermolaos opposite for the liturgy in the chapel, and then the party moves back to the square at Molos with dancing, singing and plates of seafood. The municipality lists it among the island's traditional panigiria; greeka gives the 25th, so check locally. Boats fill fast, so be on the beach early in the morning.

Panigiri of Agios Panteleimon, Trachy and Marmaro
26–27 July · Trachy / Marmaro
Two chapels of Agios Panteleimon keep the feast on 26-27 July, at Trachy on the road to the airport and at Marmaro in the north. Skyrian panigiria follow the same script: vespers, then the tavles, long tables where pilaf and roast goat or lamb are served to all comers, and violin-and-lute music until morning. Both are reachable only by car; bring a jumper, the north of the island is windy at night.

Panigiri of Panagia (15 August), Megklou and Pathima
14–15 August · Skyros Chora area
Skyros keeps Dekapentavgoustos at the chapels of Panagia Megklou (14-15 August) and Panagia Pathima (eve of the 14th), with the usual tavles and all-night music, and on the 15th the island's Skyrian wedding re-enactment in the Chora. It is peak season on a small island with one ferry a day from Kymi, so accommodation and the boat need booking well ahead.

Panigiri of Agios Mamas, Ai-Mamas
1–2 September
The shepherds' saint gets one of the last big feasts of the Skyrian summer on 1-2 September at the chapel of Ai-Mamas, with goat and pilaf tavles and music through the night; September is when the island empties of tourists and the panigiria are at their most local.

Panigiri of Panagia Lymbiani and Panagia Spiliotissa (8 September)
7–8 September · Achilli
The Nativity of the Virgin is kept on 7-8 September at Panagia Lymbiani and on the 8th at the cave chapel of Panagia Spiliotissa above Achilli bay south of the Chora, with tavles after the liturgy. Good late-season option: warm sea, empty beaches and the last violins of the year.
Dates are resolved for 2027: fixed saint's days as they fall, movable feasts computed from Orthodox Easter (2027: 2 May). Panigiria are usually held on the eve of the saint's day, and a village occasionally shifts one to the nearest weekend — where an entry says "confirm locally", the date comes from recent years' announcements rather than an official calendar.
