DESCRIPTION:The winter feast of the patron: after the liturgy on 17 December the incorrupt body is carried through the town to Solomos Square and back via Agios Markos with the philharmonics of Zakynthos\, Artemision and Alykes\, the schools and a dozen visiting bishops\; the body stays out for veneration for two more days before being returned to its silver casket.
