DESCRIPTION:On 23 July Tinos remembers the vision of the nun Pelagia that led to the finding of the icon in 1823: after great vespers on the 22nd\, the icon of the Megalochari is driven up to the convent of Kechrovouni for the liturgy\, pilgrims picnic in the fields around the monastery\, and in the late afternoon the icon returns on foot in a procession that snakes 8 km down the mountain to Chora.
