DESCRIPTION:Thasos's carnival is concentrated in the neighbouring villages of Panagia and Potamia on the last carnival weekend: satirical floats\, plenty of food and wine\, dancing and the burning of the carnival effigy\, then kites and Lenten food on Clean Monday.
