DESCRIPTION:For the Beheading of St John (29 August) Sifnos has five Ai-Giannis feasts on the evening of the 28th — Choni\, Mavro Chorio\, Siderou\, Mangana — but the easiest for visitors is Ai-Giannis 'the Faster' at Faros\, a chapel above the beach\, which does its panigiri on the morning of the 29th after liturgy.
