DESCRIPTION:On the fourth Sunday after Easter the ancient icon of the Dormition is carried from Agios Georgios in Velianitatika through the olive groves\, chapels and lanes of Gaios to the islet monastery\, with the Metropolitan of Corfu\, the schools and the philharmonic\, and blessings at decorated stops along the way\; broth and meat are again served under the pergolas at the monastery gate.
