DESCRIPTION:On 14–15 August the whole of Paxos crosses to the monastery of Panagia Vellianiton on the islet that closes Gaios harbour: vespers and vigil on the eve\, liturgy in the morning\, and then the centuries-old custom of the islanders serving beef broth (zomos) and meat cooked in copper cauldrons to every pilgrim\, local or visitor.
