DESCRIPTION:On the Friday of Bright Week (five days after Easter) the whole of Naxos climbs to Argokoili above Koronos\, where the icon of the Virgin was found in 1836: the icon is carried down from the old church on Thursday evening and back up with a huge procession around 10:30 on Friday morning\, with the Metropolitan\, a vigil overnight and stalls selling food.
