DESCRIPTION:In the old olive-oil port of Perama on the Gulf of Gera\, Agios Panteleimon (27 July) is celebrated with the 'Stylos': a greased log is fixed over the water on the pier with a flag at the end\, and young men try to walk out and grab it while the crowd cheers from the quay. Feast and music follow.
