DESCRIPTION:The 11 August miracle of Agios Spyridon is a big day in the Sfakiotes villages: in Lazarata there is vespers with artoklasia on the 10th\, liturgy on the morning of the 11th and an evening procession of the icon through the village to the square\, while neighbouring Karya carries its own reliquary under the plane trees the same morning.
